Finding partners is vital to any organisation.
Most of EU funded projects implies the collaboration among organisations from different EU-countries or EU-partner countries.
Who is the partner organisation
First of all, who can be a partner according to European guidelines?
A partner can be any NGO, research institute or association, regardless of its country of origin. It has to be financially sustainable and qualified over the activities of the project.
Your organisation can either search for a partner individually, or use a searching tool.
The tool to find a partner organisations
As already discussed before, SALTO-YOUTH is a useful network for organisations working in the mobility field. S.A.L.T.O. is indeed a platform of 7 Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. Among the tools available on the platform, one of specific interest is Otlas.
Otlas is a tool to find partner organisations when in need. So far, it counts 8,376 projects to be partners of, and 13,412 organisations and informal group that already joined.
Otlas allows your organisation to:
- Search for partners, among more than 1,300 organisations;
- Add your organisation or informal group, to demonstrate your interest in international cooperation;
- Create a project and request for partners.
What makes Otlas a valuable tool, is that it is not limited to finding partner organisations. It satisfy also the need of finding new contacts in the world, finding a missing partner with urgency and sending your volunteers abroad. Indeed, it informs you about the Projects with deadlines approaching and still in need of finding partners. And it keeps you up-to-date on the latest projects.
You can either filter your projects’ search considering the country or the activity.
At the same time, you can look for organisations that match specific criteria, and filter them on the basis of the country or the activities.
