Call for proposals: coaching of youngsters at risk of radicalisation

    Open call for sport-related projects. The deadline is on 23 July 2019 at 12:00 (Brussels time).

    The main purpose of the call is to prevent the radicalisation of young people at risk, due to their background, origins and to the contexts they happened to live in. Through the implementation of sport activities, sport organisations and federations, cooperating with public authorities (including municipalities), local actors and civil society, will be able to include the youngsters in the society and to prevent them from getting into the tangle of radical extremism.

    Budget

    The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects under this call for proposals is estimated at EUR 1.900.000. Each grant will be of a maximum of EUR 350.000 per project
    and of a minimum of EUR 150.000 per project.
    The Commission expects to fund approximately seven proposals.
