The call for European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects has been published on the Official Journal of the European Union C 444 of 10 December 2018 – subsequently amended by the Corrigendum of 17 December 2018.
This call for proposals covers the following actions of the European Solidarity Corps:
- Volunteering Projects
- Volunteering Partnerships (specific agreements for 2019 under the FPA 2018-2020)
- Volunteering Teams in high priority areas
- Traineeships and Jobs
- Solidarity Projects
- Quality Label
Budget and duration of projects
The total budget earmarked for this actions is estimated at EUR 96 322 671 and is based on the 2019 annual work programme for the European Solidarity Corps (see p. 35 WPI 1.00, 1.30, 2.00, 3.00, 4.10).
The level of grants awarded as well as the duration of projects vary depending on factors such as the type of project and the number of partners involved.

Volunteering Projects: 7 February 2019 – 30 April 2019 – 1 October 2019
Volunteering Partnerships (specific agreements for 2019 under the FPA 2018-2020): 30 April 2019
Volunteering Teams in high priority areas: 28 September 2019
Traineeships and Jobs: 7 February 2019 – 30 April 2019 – 1 October 2019

How to apply
Organisations involved in the application must register in the Participant Portal and receive a Participant Identification Code (PIC). Organisations or groups of young people that have already obtained a PIC through their participation in other EU programmes do not need to register again.
After checking the compliance with the eligibility criteria, applicants are required to submit their application online to the appropriate National or Executive Agency using the correct electronic form (available here) and including all requested annexes.
