Youthpass Heart Corps – Guiding the Learning Journey
The European Solidarity Corps provides young people with a chance to develop new skills and showcase their solidarity and commitment to their communities. Youthpass is an excellent tool that helps participants document their learning outcomes and become more aware of their learning experiences. However, participants might need support from their mentors, coaches, and project organisers to make the most of this opportunity.
To bridge this gap, the SALTO Training & Cooperation Resource Centre in cooperation with JUGEND für Europa (National Agency – Germany) has created a free online course meant for project organisers, mentors, coaches, other support persons active in the European Solidarity Corps.
Let’s take a closer look at what it’s all about!
Course Objectives: Developing Competences to Support Learning Processes
The Youthpass Heart Corps online course aims to empower and equip youth workers with the information and competences they need to implement the Youthpass process.
The Youthpass Heart Corps course is structured into 9 modules that cover topics such as:
- the learning value of the European Solidarity Corps projects;
- the Youthpass process;
- how to support reflection on learning;
- expressing learning outcomes in words.
The course materials include videos, texts, practical exercises, and reflections, and participants may go through the modules and chapters at their own pace.
At the end of the course, participants will have a better understanding of the learning journey of a participant in a European Solidarity Corps project and how the Youthpass can be implemented along the way. They will develop the competencies needed to support participants through self-assessment and reflection. Join the course today and earn your Youthpass Certificate.
