Introduction

The International Solidarity Corps Training offers Quality Label experts a chance to expand their skills and competencies. This training course focuses on the Quality Label process and standards, catering exclusively to experts working in or for a National Agency or Regional SALTO.

Training Overview

In order to provide greater opportunities for Quality Label experts to enhance their skills and competencies, there are two registration options available:

  1. Online Part Only: this option allows you to participate in the virtual training sessions and gain valuable knowledge remotely;
  2. Full Course: Alternatively, you have the option to register for the full course, which includes the online phase, practice phase, and a residential training course in Luxembourg. If you plan to attend the full course, please also register for the training course in Luxembourg here.

Online Phase

The Online Introduction Phase, taking place from 19th to 21st June 2023, offers a flexible learning experience with three-hour morning sessions per day. Participants can join remotely from any location.

The Practice Online Phase runs from July to November 2023 and includes three optional online workshops focusing on program priorities. These workshops explore topics such as digital transformation, democratic participation, inclusion and diversity, and environmental protection and climate change. Benefits of the Online Introduction Phase:

  1. Understanding Program Priorities: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the program’s priorities, including environmental protection, sustainable development, digital transformation, democratic participation, and diversity and inclusion.
  2. Role Reflection and Sharing: Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their role as Quality Label experts and share their experiences with peers.
  3. Supportive Community: The online introduction phase fosters a supportive community of Quality Label experts, providing peer support and opportunities for collaboration.

Following the online phase, participants will have the opportunity to attend a Residential Training Course from 7th to 11th November 2023 in Luxembourg. This immersive training experience provides a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning and networking with fellow professionals in the field. Coming up on the European Training Calendar, there are three new learning opportunities for youth organisations dealing with the Erasmus Plus programme. We have selected the ones concerning trainings about the European Solidarity Corps.

Trainings on European Solidarity Corps

The following three trainings take place on presence.

TOSCA – Training and support for organisations active in the volunteering actions

TOSCA is a training course taking place in October 11-15th 2021 in Warszawa, Poland. The training activity aims to support and build up the capacities of organizations that actively participate in volunteering actions of the European Solidarity Corps, in order to ensure quality and impact in the respective projects.

There is no participation fee, as the training course is financed by the participating NAs of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The working language is English and the organizer is the Polish National Agency. The course provides the coverage of accommodation, food and travel costs.

The application deadline is September 6th, 2021. The applicants (maximum 25) must come from an Erasmus+ participating country, or a Partner country.

The application is online.

Community Impact in Practice

Community Impact in Practice is a seminar taking place in October 17-20th, 2021 in Vienna, Austria. This workshop will give youth workers and organisations the opportunity to get to know and try out a practical guide on community impact of learning mobility. There will be a chance to learn about Community Impact as a concept from research inputs, discussions, and sharing of understanding.
Although the project is financed by the participating NAs of the European Solidarity Corps, the participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency to know more. The working language will be English.
The organizer provides the coverage of accommodation and food, while the travel costs will be covered by your NA.
The application deadline is September 7th, 2021. The participants (maximum 20) must come from an Erasmus+ participating country.
The application process is online.

Conference: “On track 5 – Different youth work approaches for different NEET situations”

On Track 5 is a seminar taking place in December 7-11th, 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey. This cross-sectoral conference will address the NEET issues and showcase good practices, with the emphasize on partnership building and cooperation between youth work and other sectors (formal education, employment, social & business sector…).

Although the project is financed by the participating NAs of the European Solidarity Corps, the participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency to know more. The working language will be English.
The organizer provides the coverage of accommodation and food, while the travel costs will be covered by your NA.
The applicants (maximum 80) must come from an Erasmus+ participating country, or a Partner country. The application deadline is September 16th, 2021.
The application process provides to fill out an online form.
