After publishing the ESC Guide 2020, Erasmus+ has published a corrigendum. The changes are related to Quality Label and Volunteering.

QUALITY LABEL

Under “What are the criteria used to assess a Quality Label” – Page 20:

Removal of “Duration – The whole duration of the programming period (2018-2020)”. The validity of the Quality Label is already covered under “How does it work” on page 16.

VOLUNTEERING

Under “Volunteering” – Page 24

NB: For individual volunteering activities, organisations involved as partners in projects need to be holding a valid Erasmus+ accreditation or Quality Label at the start of the activities they are involved in. It is especially important that they submit the application for Quality Label at least 2 months before the start of the activity. For application purposes, host organisations that will be identified in the application form will need to have at least submitted their Quality Label prior to the call deadline. In all cases, the applicant organisation must hold a valid Erasmus+ accreditation or Quality Label at the application deadline.

Some days ago the Erasmus+ Guide 2020 was released. Now, the Erasmus+ Guide for experts 2020 has been posted on-line! Do you know what is it for?

The guide is intended to provide experts with instructions and guidance on how to ensure a high quality standardised assessment of a project application received in response to Calls for Proposals managed by the Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency and advice on providing accreditation. It provides general information on the role and tasks of an expert and the methodology and principles of quality assessments in Erasmus+ centralised actions managed by EACEA.

Even if it is written to guide the evaluators in the process of judgement, it can be also very useful for organisations: knowing what the evaluators will assess, it will be easier to write a successful proposal.

For example, this are the main criteria that are considered when assessing in a project, according with the guide:

  • Relevance of the project
  • Quality of the project design and implementation
  • Quality of the project team and the cooperation arrangements
  • Impact and dissemination

The guide also give certain guidelines regarding: confidentiality, code of conduct, how to give feeback to the applicants, or what are good assessment practices.

If you want to know more, you can now download the 2020 guide HERE!
